Ms Vaishali Patkar and her team at Climate Collective Pune guided, interacted and facilitated students of CM International School on 8th March 2019. The event focused on awareness on Climate Action and Fridays For Future (#FFF) Movement.

These 11-13 year-olds gathered to support the #FFF movement initiated by the 16-year-old Climate Activist Greta Thunberg from Sweden. Greta started a Climate Strike in 2018 and has been joined by millions of students all across the globe. These responsible and committed youth citizens successfully organized a Global   Climate Strike on 15th March 2019, simultaneously in 135 countries and 2389 cities around the world!

The students of CMS school expressed concern about saving our planet. They discussed meaningful climate actions like planting and saving trees and forests, using bicycles, shifting to solar energy, etc. And also decided to join hands and participate in the 'Fridays For Future' movement.

These concerned students and their school have shown solidarity to the Fridays For Future's Climate Cause. They committed to extending their support by getting down to Climate Action together with their friends, families and neighbours. They also shared their ideas and actions on 15th March 2019 to join their friends from across the world. Check the FB Album for the essays.
